The scale and scope of our projects varies greatly, encompassing both residential and commercial construction. Our level of service, however, never varies, whether we are providing basic handyman services or turn-key design/build contracting. How We Work
Collaboration and communication are paramount to the way we operate. Establishing an honest relationship with our clients from the beginning, and maintaining that communicative environment, is what sets AllenBuilt apart from our competitors. We value the client relationship first and facilitate clear, flexible communication among all parties throughout a project’s process. AllenBuilt prefers to work hand-in-hand with the owner and designer; we are all members of the production team. We are all responsible for making timely decisions to ensure that the project stays on schedule. We are sensitive to our clients' needs and have full awareness that we are working on their space, often while they are living or operating in it. As such, we keep communication lines clear and proactively anticipate any changes or delays to meet established deadlines without compromising the caliber of our work.
Sustainability
AllenBuilt is a conscientious firm that builds eco-awareness and sustainability into every stage of a project’s process. Since buildings are the largest consumer of global energy and natural resources, we, as builders, have the most immediate impact on lessening that consumption. We are acutely aware of that responsibility. We believe that you, the owner, have an opportunity to monitor the manufacturing of your home or commercial property in a way you don’t with, for example, a car. There are several opportunities during the design/build process that can greatly impact the health of the occupants, lifespan of the building and its operational costs. Many choices—including repurposing materials, advanced framing techniques, or creating a design that integrates benefits of the natural environment—do not significantly affect the budget. We are continually educating ourselves on green approaches to provide the best options for your project.
